Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Intake Manifold Cover (3) - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF4)

  2. Remove Fuel Pipe Shield (1) - Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement (LF4)

  3. Remove Hood Strut - Right Side (1) - Hood Strut Replacement (ATS-V)

  4. Disconnect Heater Inlet Hose (1) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing - Heater Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  5. Disconnect Heater Outlet Hose (1) @Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing - Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LF4)

  6. Disconnect Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1)
  7. Disconnect the engine electrical wiring harness (2) from the back of the engine and relocate to improve access.

  8. Disconnect Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (1) @Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe and position aside - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement (LF4)

  9. Disconnect Fuel Feed Pipe (1) @Engine - Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Fuel Tank To Engine LF4)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LF4 at Engine)

  11. Remove Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Bolt (1)
  12. Remove Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing (2)
  13. Remove Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Gasket (3) and DISCARD
