Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Replacement (LF4)

Preliminary Procedures Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief . Remove the engine rear noise shield. Refer to Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement (LF4) .
1	Fitting (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Tighten Start and hand tighten the NEW fuel feed intermediate pipe fittings (1) in sequence as numbered. Tighten the fittings evenly in sequence as numbered (1, 2, 3) to 28 N.m (21 lb ft)
2	Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe Procedure DISCARD the pipe when removed and install a NEW pipe. Pressurize the fuel system and check for leaks.

CAUTION:

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

Tighten

Start and hand tighten the NEW fuel feed intermediate pipe fittings (1) in sequence as numbered.
Tighten the fittings evenly in sequence as numbered (1, 2, 3) to 28 N.m (21 lb ft)

Fuel Feed Intermediate Pipe

Procedure

DISCARD the pipe when removed and install a NEW pipe.
Pressurize the fuel system and check for leaks.
