Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement

Preliminary Procedures Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief . Remove the engine rear noise shield. Refer to Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement (LF4) Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement (LGX) . Disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
1	Fuel Feed Pipe Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2	Fuel Feed Pipe CAUTION: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution . Procedure Unclip the electrical harness from the feed pipe bracket. DISCARD the pipe when removed, and install a NEW pipe. Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly. Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks. Tighten 28 N.m (21 lb ft)

Tighten

Fuel Feed Pipe

CAUTION:

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

Procedure

Unclip the electrical harness from the feed pipe bracket.
DISCARD the pipe when removed, and install a NEW pipe.
Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.

Tighten
28 N.m (21 lb ft)
