Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Non V-Series)Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series) .
  2. Remove the evaporative emission canister purge pipe. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe Replacement .
  3. Remove the fuel tank vent hose. Refer to Fuel Tank Vent Hose Replacement .
  4. Remove the evaporative emission canister air inlet hose. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Air Inlet Hose Replacement .
  5. Disconnect electrical connector.

Procedure 
Depress retaining tab to release EVAP canister.
