Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Inspect the solenoid valve seals and replace as needed.

  1. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid (2) into to the engine front cover.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid to engine front cover retaining bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Connect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid electrical connector.
  4. Connect the radiator inlet hose. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LF4) .
  5. Install Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LF4) 
  6. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement (LF4) .
