Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator.Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Right Side 
  2. Disconnect Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube@Camshaft Cover
  3. Remove Ignition Coil. Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1 (LGX)
  4. Remove Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust. Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust (LGX)
  5. Remove Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake. Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake (LGX)
  6. Disconnect and remove the engine harness from the camshaft cover.

  7. Remove the fuel feed pipe bracket bolt (1) and reposition the fuel feed lines. Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Fuel Tank To Engine LGX)Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LGX at Engine)

  8. Remove Camshaft Cover Bolt (1)
  9. Remove Camshaft Cover (2)
  10. Remove Camshaft Cover Seal (3) and DISCARD
  11. Disassemble the camshaft cover as needed. Camshaft Cover Disassemble (LGX) .
  12. Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head and the camshaft cover. Camshaft Cover Cleaning and Inspection (LGX)
