Installation Procedure

- Assemble the camshaft cover as needed. Camshaft Cover Assemble (LGX) .
- Place a bead 8 mm (0.3150 in) in width by 4 mm (0.1575 in) in height of RTV sealant equivalent, on the engine front cover split lines (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (LGX)
- Install Camshaft Cover Seal (2)
- Install Camshaft Cover (3)
- Loosely Install Camshaft Cover Bolt (4)
- Tighten in the sequence shown.15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Position and install the engine harness to the camshaft cover.
- Install Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake - Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake (LGX)
- Install Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust - Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust (LGX)
- Install Ignition Coil@Bank 2 - Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2 (LGX)
- Connect Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube@Camshaft Cover
- Install Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator@Left Side (1) - Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Left Side
