Front Seat Back Lumbar Replacement (Without W2E)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the driver or passenger seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the driver or passenger seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (Sedan with AHE)Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (Sedan without AHE)Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (Coupe with AHE)Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (Coupe without AHE)Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement (with W2E) .
  3. Remove the driver's seat inflatable restraint module. Refer to Front Seat Outboard Seat Back Airbag Replacement
1 Front Seat Lumbar Support Fastener (Qty: 2)
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

2 Front Seat Lumbar Support

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Pull outward at the bottom of the seat to release the bottom support wires.
  3. Disengage the lumbar support retainer from the seat back frame.
  4. Pull the bottom of the lumbar forward and up until the lumbar support wires disengage from the seat back frame.
