Front Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Sedan without AHE)

WARNING: Refer to SIR Warning . Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the driver or passenger seat. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Removal and Installation . Remove the driver or passenger seat inner recliner finish cover. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Inner Recliner Finish Cover Replacement . Remove the driver or passenger seat cushion outer finish panel. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Outer Finish Panel Replacement (Sedan) Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Outer Finish Panel Replacement (with W2E) . Whenever the inflatable restraint passenger presence system or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Control Module References .
1	Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Cover Procedure Disengage the J-channel retainers from the seat cushion frame. Disconnect any electrical connectors, if equipped. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly. Remove all hog rings attaching the cover to the pad and replace with new. Pull the cover away from the pad to disengage the retainers. When replacing the front passenger seat cushion, you must also replace the inflatable restraint passenger presence system. 3	Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Pad NOTE: Transfer the lane departure actuators if servicing the driver side pad.
