Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. Remove the engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Replacement (LFX) .

  5. Install the EN-46106  tool (1) through the starter mounting hole.

  7. Using engine support fixture, lower engine approximately two inches.
  8. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt (1). Discard the bolt.

  10. Install the EN-38416-2  button (2) in the nose of the crankshaft.
  11. Install the EN-41816  remover (3) in order to remove the crankshaft balancer (1).
  12. Tighten the center bolt of the EN-41816  remover in order to pull the crankshaft balancer off of the crankshaft.
  13. Remove the EN-41816  remover from the crankshaft balancer.
