Preliminary Procedure Remove the right and left front floor console appliques. Refer to Front Floor Console Applique Replacement . Remove the transmission control boot. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
1	Front Floor Console Transmission Shifter Trim Plate Assembly Procedure Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retaining clips securing the front floor console transmission shift plate to the console assembly. Disconnect the electrical connections. When replacing the front floor console transmission shift plate assembly, transfer all necessary components.

Front Floor Console Transmission Shifter Trim Plate Assembly

Procedure

Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool in order to release the retaining clips securing the front floor console transmission shift plate to the console assembly.
Disconnect the electrical connections.
When replacing the front floor console transmission shift plate assembly, transfer all necessary components.
