Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement - Left Side (LAU)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the secondary air injection pump hose. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Hose Replacement . Remove the secondary air injection pump pipe. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Pump Pipe Replacement . Remove the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LF1) or Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement (LAU) . Remove the harness bracket bolt above the exhaust manifold heat shield and reposition the engine harness.
1	Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Bolt (Qty: 4) WARNING: Refer to Hot Exhaust System Warning . CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 10 N.m (7 lb ft)

WARNING: Refer to Hot Exhaust System Warning .

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 10 N.m (7 lb ft)
