Power Steering Pump Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 2.9L engine or Drive Belt Tensioner Removal (Overhaul) for the 3.7L engine.
3. Remove the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts.
4. Remove the power steering pump bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the power steering pump bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the power steering pump bracket mounting bolts.

Tighten the power steering pump mounting bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

3. Install the drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (Service and Repair) for the 2.9L engine or Drive Belt Tensioner Removal (Overhaul) for the 3.7L engine.
4. install the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (Service and Repair) .
