Preliminary Procedures Remove the Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Utility) or Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Pick Up) . Remove the endgate latch. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .
1	Pickup Box Endgate Linkage Tip: Release the rod from the pickup box endgate handle and pull the rod through the endgate latch opening.

Remove the endgate latch. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .

Pickup Box Endgate Linkage
Tip: Release the rod from the pickup box endgate handle and pull the rod through the endgate latch opening.
