Front Seat Back Frame Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket . Remove the front seat recliner lever, if equipped. Refer to Driver Seat Recliner Handle and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement . Remove the front seat manual lumbar knob, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement . Remove the front seat adjuster outer finish cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Power) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Manual) .
1	Front Seat Adjuster Inner Finish Cover Refer to Front Seat Cushion Inner Trim Panel Replacement .
2	Front Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Tip: Using a nylon flat bladed tool push the tabs in on the side of the panel to release from the seat back to remove.
3	Front Seat Riser Finish Cover Tip: Pull rearward to disengage the cover from the seat riser.
4	Front Seat Head Restraint Assembly Tip: Depress the button on the inboard head restraint guide to raise the head restraint to the full up position. Insert a small diameter tool into the hole on the inboard side of the outboard head restraint guide and pull upward to remove.
5	Front Seat Head Restraint Guide (Qty: 2) Tip: Squeeze the bottom of the guide together and push up to remove from the seat back.
6	Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
7	Front Seat Back Finish Panel Support
8	Seat Lumbar Subsystem Tip: Disconnect the cable. Pull the retainers out at the bottom and then slide the upper spring wire out from the top of the seat frame.
9	Seat Back Frame Bolt (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
