Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement

Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
- Remove the front seat back panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Panel Replacement .
- Remove the front seat manual lumbar knob, if equipped. Refer to Lumbar Support Knob Replacement .
- Remove the front seat adjuster outer finish cover. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Power) or Front Seat Cushion Outer Trim Panel Replacement (Manual) .

Front Seat Back Cushion Finish Panel Procedure: Using a nylon flat-bladed tool push the tabs in on the side of the panel to release from the seat back to remove. |

Front Seat Head Restraint Assembly Procedure
- Depress the button on the inboard head restraint guide to raise the head restraint to the full up position.
- Insert a small diameter tool into the hole on the inboard side of the outboard head restraint guide and pull upward to remove.

Front Seat Head Restraint Guide (Qty: 2) Tip:
Squeeze the bottom of the guide together and push up to remove from the seat back. |

Seat Back Cushion Cover Procedure
- Disengage the j-channel retainers from the seat back cushion frame.
- Remove the rear seat recliner to seat cushion frame bolt on each side and tilt the seat back forward to make it easier to remove and install the cover.
- Disconnect the blower from the seat back cushion pad, if equipped.
- Remove the air duct, if equipped.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors that attach to the seat back cushion, if equipped.
- Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad from the seat cushion frame as an assembly.
- Pull the cover away from the pad to disengage the retainers
