2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Length Check

J 33037: 2-4 Intermediate Band Apply Pin Gauge
- Disassemble the 2-4 servo assembly. Remove the apply pin retaining ring (24), the servo apply pin washer (23), the servo apply pin spring (22) and the 2nd apply piston pin (13).
- Install the band apply pin (13) and the J 33037: pin gauge (1).
- Install the servo cover retaining ring (29) to secure the tool.
- Apply 11 N.m (98 lb in) torque. If the white line appears in the gauge slot (1), the pin length is correct.
- If a new pin is needed, refer to 2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection in order to determine correct pin length.

- Install the servo cover retaining ring (29) to secure the tool.
- Apply 11 N.m (98 lb in) torque. If the white line appears in the gauge slot (1), the pin length is correct.
- If a new pin is needed, refer to 2-4 Band Servo Piston Pin Selection in order to determine the correct pin length.
