Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
  2. Install the cooling lines to the transmission (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  3. Install the engine protection shield. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  4. Lower the vehicle.

  6. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the radiator (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .

  8. Install the transmission fluid cooler hose to the auxiliary oil cooler (1). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  9. Install the radiator grille. Refer to Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC) or Radiator Grille Replacement (Chevrolet HD) or Radiator Grille Replacement (GMC HD) .
