Preliminary Procedures Remove the Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Pickup) or Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Utility) . Remove the endgate latch. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .
1	Pickup Box Endgate Linkage Tip: Release the rod from the pickup box endgate handle and pull the rod through the endgate latch opening.

Remove the Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel. Refer to Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Pickup) or Pickup Box Endgate Latch Handle Bezel Replacement (Utility) .
Remove the endgate latch. Refer to Endgate Latch Replacement .

Pickup Box Endgate Linkage
Tip: Release the rod from the pickup box endgate handle and pull the rod through the endgate latch opening.
