Preliminary Procedures Remove the trailer hitch draw bar. Refer to Trailer Hitch Replacement (Light Duty) or Trailer Hitch Replacement (Heavy Duty) . Remove the rear bumper impact bar end caps. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar End Cap Replacement . Remove the bolts and nuts attaching the rear bumper impact bar to the rear bumper impact bar brace. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Brace Replacement .
1	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Nut (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2	Rear Bumper Impact Bar Tip: Disconnect any electrical connectors/harnesses as needed. Transfer any parts as needed.

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bracket Nut (Qty: 4)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)

Transfer any parts as needed.
