Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the transmission support. Refer to Transmission Support Replacement (Manual Transmission) or Transmission Support Replacement (Automatic Transmission) . Lower the rear of the transmission.
1	Vehicle Speed Sensor Bolt NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 8 N.m (71 lb in)
2	Vehicle Speed Sensor Procedure: Disconnect the electrical wire harness from the vehicle speed sensor.
