Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount to the vehicle. Ensure the slotted washer (1) or plastisol insert washer (2) is properly installed and located between the engine mount and the frame.
  2. Lower the engine onto the engine mount.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the right and left engine mount lower nut (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  4. Remove the screw jack and a block of wood from under the engine oil pan
  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Install the nut (1) to the top of the engine mount.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  7. Install the tower brace. Refer to Cross Vehicle Brace Replacement .
