Parking Brake Cable (Front): Installation

  1. Install front cable. Secure grommet to body. Clip cable at kick panel.
  2. Connect cable to lever assembly.
  3. Install lever assembly.
  4. Install cowl side panel.
  5. Install step trim plate.
  6. Connect front cable to lever assembly.
  7. Raise vehicle.
  8. Connect front cable to parking brake cable connector.
  9. Adjust parking brake. See PARKING BRAKE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  10. Lower vehicle.
