Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Redline) or Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Standard) .

  4. For L61 vehicles, remove the battery box air duct.

  6. Remove the condenser radiator fan module (CRFM) closeout panel.

  8. Remove receiver dehydrator from the condenser.
  9. Install a protective cap to the receiver dehydrator to prevent contamination and desiccant saturation.

  11. Remove the compressor hose from the condenser.
  12. Install a protective cap to the compressor hose to prevent contamination and desiccant saturation.
  13. Lift the condenser while holding the upper retention tabs forward.
  14. Remove the condenser from the vehicle.
