Installation Procedure

  1. Install the timing belt cover (7).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the timing belt cover bolts (8).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the engine balancer using the EN 46337  . See Special Tools .
  4. Install the splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement .
  5. Install the engine drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
