EN 46330  Timing Belt Tensioner Retaining Pin. See Special Tools .

    NOTE: Do not exceed 9 800 N (2,200 lb) when compressing the rod of the tensioner or component damage may occur.
  1. Using a hydraulic press, slowly compress the tensioner.
  2. Insert the EN 46330  through the housing and rod. See Special Tools .

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bushing (234), tensioner bracket (233) and bolt (250).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

  5. Install the pulley (232) and nut (231).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nut to 80 N.m (59 lb ft).

  7. Install the tensioner (252) and bolts (251).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
