2	Install a scan tool. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. With a scan tool, observe the suspect DIC switch parameter in the DIC Inputs data list. Depress the suspect DIC switch. Does the switch parameter change state?	-	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	Replace the DIC. Refer to Driver Information Center Replacement . Did you complete the replacement?	-	Go to Step 4	-
4	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	-	System OK	Go to Step 2
