Rocker Arms & Push Rods: Installation

  1. Ensure push rods are seated in valve lifters. Install rocker arm assembly in original location. Ensure steel retainers are located on bolt area of rocker arm shafts.
  2. Slowly tighten rocker arm shaft bolts to specification, starting at center and working outward. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
