Fuel Line Disconnect Fitting: Removal

- Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect negative battery cable. Ensure area around fuel line and disconnect fitting is clean. Place shop towel around fuel line.
- Pull backward on disconnect fitting while depressing plastic ring into disconnect fitting. See Figure. It may be necessary to use a wrench to depress plastic ring. Separate fuel line from disconnect fitting.
