Intake & Exhaust Manifolds: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure. Steel manifold gasket must be coated with gasket sealant on manifold side. If composition gasket is used, DO NOT use sealant.
- Tighten bolts or nuts to specification starting at center and working outward in both directions. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
