WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Dodge Pickup and 1995 Dodge Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: For circuit and connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  section at the end of this article.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between PCM terminals No. 57, ASD relay output circuit (Dark Green/Orange wire) and No. 58, injector No. 5 driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire) and If resistance is 6-18 ohms, replace PCM. Perform TEST VER-2.
  2. If resistance is not 6-18 ohms, using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of PCM terminal No. 58, injectors No. 2 and 7 driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Light Green/Black wire. Perform TEST VER-2.
  3. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, disconnect injector No. 2 connector. Check resistance of PCM terminal No. 58, injectors No. 2 and 7 driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace injector No. 2. Perform TEST VER-2.
  4. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, disconnect injector No. 7 connector. Check resistance of PCM terminal No. 58, injectors No. 2 and 7 driver circuit (Light Green/Black wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, replace injector No. 7. Perform TEST VER-2. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, repair short to ground in Light Green/Black wire. Perform TEST VER-2.
