Removal And Installation: Tailpipe: Removal

NOTE: The configuration of the exhaust system varies depending on wheelbase and frame length. Typical application shown below.

Position vehicle on a hoist. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING .
1. Loosen the clamp.
  Torque: 48 Nm
2. Detach the exhaust isolator.
3. NOTE: Note the muffler-to-tailpipe alignment tab for installation.
  
  Remove the tailpipe from the vehicle.

NOTE: This step is only required if you are replacing the isolator bracket.

Remove the bolts and isolator bracket.

Torque: 25 Nm

If equipped. Loosen the U-clamp.
