Solenoid Body: Installation
- Install the No 6 check ball.
- Install the following items.
- Bypass valve
- Solenoid damper

NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.
Install the new separator plate and the push pin retainer.
- Position the solenoid body on the valve body and install the solenoid body-to-valve body bolt.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)
- Install the bolt and the connectors. Install the wiring harness assembly.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

NOTE: The solenoid body strategy data file and solenoid body identification must be updated anytime a new solenoid body is installed. A new solenoid body service tag must be installed over the current solenoid body service tag on top of the transmission case.
If a new solenoid body is installed, update the solenoid body strategy. If a new solenoid body is installed, update the solenoid body strategy. Refer to: Transmission Strategy Download .
- Install the main control valve body. Refer to: Main Control Valve Body .
