Main Control Valve Body: Installation

NOTE: Make sure that the component is correctly installed.
Inspect the No 6 check ball.
- Install the separator plate, the push pin retainer and the bolt.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.
Install the bolt.

NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.
Install the bolts.

NOTE: Only tighten the bolt finger tight at this stage.
Install the bolts.
- Tighten the main control valve body bolts in the sequence shown.
Torque: Stage 1: 44 lb.in (5 Nm) | Stage 2: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
- Connect the TR sensor electrical connector and connect the OSS sensor electrical connector.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Install the main control cover. Refer to: Main Control Cover .
- If a new main control was installed, the solenoid body strategy must be updated. Refer to: Transmission Strategy Download .
