Exhaust Manifold RH: Installation

- Install the new exhaust manifold studs and the gaskets.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Install the exhaust manifold and the new washers and nuts finger tight.
Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
- Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts in sequence shown.
Torque: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
- Install the heat shield and the bolts.
Torque: 124 lb.in (14 Nm)

NOTE: Some replacement exhaust manifolds do not come with studs.
If necessary, install new studs.
Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)
- Install the following items:
- RH engine mount and bracket. Refer to: Engine Mount RH .
- Transmission filler tube. Refer to: Transmission Filler Tube - 6.2L V8/6.8L Triton-30V - V10 .
- Air cleaner. Refer to: Air Cleaner .
- Air cleaner outlet pipe. Refer to: Air Cleaner Outlet Pipe .
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
