Transmission Park Manual Release Cable: Installation

1. Install the cable and connect the gromet.
2. Connect the cable retaining clip push pin behind the panel.

1. Install the lever assembly bolts.
  Torque
  
  : 33 lb.in (3.7 Nm)
2. Install the lever assembly push pins.

Install the lower steering column trim panel.

Release the clips to open the access panel, remove the bolts and the access panel.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Vehicles Without Floor Console
Install the lower instrument panel finish panel and bolt.
Torque

: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Install the floor console bolts.
Torque

: 48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Connect the RH electrical connector.

Install the floor console upper LH trim panel.

Connect the cable to the manual lever and bracket.
