Pinpoint Test Y : The Eld (Electronic Locking Differential) Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See ELD Indicator. REFER to: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation and Component Description .

See ELD RTT. REFER to: Message Center - System Operation and Component Description .

If the rear differential lock indicator request message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the ELD indicator or ELD RTT to its last indication state (on or off), based upon the last message received.

If the rear differential lock indicator request message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0102:00 and defaults the ELD indicator or ELD RTT off.
