Pinpoint Test T : The Charging System Warning Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Charging System Warning Indicator. REFER to: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation and Component Description .

See Charging System RTT. REFER to: Message Center - System Operation and Component Description .

If the battery low state of charge message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the charging system warning indicator or charging system RTT to the last indication state (on or off), based upon on the last message received.

If the battery low state of charge message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the charging system warning indicator or charging system RTT on.
