Pinpoint Test Q : The Auto Stop-Start Indicator Is Never Or Always On: Notes

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

See Auto Stop-Start Indicator. REFER to: Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation and Component Description .

See Auto Stop-Start RTT. REFER to: Message Center - System Operation and Component Description .

If the stop-start mode indicator request message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the auto stop-start warning indicator or auto stop-start RTT to its last indication state (on or off), based upon the last message received.

If the stop-start mode indicator request message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC defaults the auto stop-start indicator or auto stop-start RTT off.
