Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
If the 4x4 high or 4x4 low status message is missing for less than 5 seconds, the IPC defaults the specific indicator or RTT (4x2, 4x4 auto, 4x4 high or 4x4 low) to its last state (on or off) based upon the last message received.
If the 4x4 high or 4x4 low status message is missing for 5 seconds or longer, the IPC sets DTC U0102:00 and defaults the specific indicator or RTT (4x2, 4x4 high, 4x4 low or 4x4 auto) off.
