NOTE: Selective Catalyst Reduction (SRC)/Reductant system components are very sensitive to external contamination. Any possible measure should be taken to prevent contamination from entering the system while servicing it.
NOTE: Discard the drained reductant fluid. Always refill the reductant tank with new reductant fluid to avoid reductant system contamination.
NOTE: Fresh reductant fluid should be the only lubricant used in the assembly of these components. The use of any other lubricant ESPECIALLY PETROLEUM BASED LUBES may cause damage to the system.
NOTE: Reductant fluid can corrode some metals. Reductant fluid must be stored and transported carefully. Reductant fluid must be disposed of according to local regulations.
