Fuel Lines: Removal

All vehicles
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
- Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
- Disconnect the battery. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect
- Remove the engine appearance cover.

NOTE: Some residual fuel may remain in the fuel lines after releasing the fuel system pressure. When disconnecting or removing any fuel lines, carefully drain any residual fuel into a suitable container.
Detach the retainer and disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Release the retainers.
- Remove the bolts and the transmission housing cover.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Detach the retainer and disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling
.
- Release the retainers.
- Disconnect the quick release couplings and remove the fuel lines. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling

All vehicles

- Disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Detach the retainer.

- If equipped with 157 Wheel Base. Disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Detach the retainers and remove the fuel lines.

- If equipped with 145 Wheel Base. Disconnect the quick release couplings. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
- Detach the retainers and remove the fuel lines.
