Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Possible Sources
- Power sliding window concern
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Power sliding window control switch

K1 CHECK THE POWER SLIDING WINDOW OPERATION
- Ignition ON.
- Check the power sliding window operation.
Does the power sliding window operate?

Yes GO to K2

No REFER to: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms .

K2 CHECK THE POWER SLIDING WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN

Ignition OFF.

Disconnect Power Sliding Window Control Switch C980.

Ignition ON.

Measure:

Positive Lead	Measurement / Action	Negative Lead

Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?

Yes	INSTALL a new power sliding window control switch.

No	REPAIR the circuit.
