Symptom Chart - Automatic Transmission Cooling

The ideal TFT for Super Duty vehicles equipped with a TorqShift6 (6R140) transmission is 200 deg. F-240 deg. F (93 deg.C-115 deg. C). Above 240 deg. F (115 deg. C), the transmission control strategy and calibration will take action to prevent temperatures from exceeding 250 deg. F (121 deg.C). These actions can include changes to converter lock scheduling and shift scheduling.
