Adjustment
- Using alignment equipment and the manufacturer's instructions, measure the toe settings.
- Refer to Alignment Specifications in the Specifications portion of this article for optimal alignment settings. Refer to: Front Toe Adjustment - F-250/F-350, RWD .
- If the toe settings are not within specification, go to the next step.
- Start the engine and center the steering wheel.
- Steering wheel in straight ahead position.
- On both sides. Loosen the tie rod adjuster sleeve nuts.
Torque: 41 lb.ft (55 Nm)
- Rotate the center link to the correct toe setting.
- Make sure that the RH tie rod end is not misaligned, as shown in image 2. Adjust the position as necessary as shown in image 1.
- Verify the toe settings and adjust as necessary.
