Fuel Lines - Vehicles With: Midship Fuel Tank: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview .
- Release the fuel system pressure. Refer to: Fuel System Pressure Release .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect .
- Disconnect the quick release coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING
- Disconnect the quick release coupling. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING
- Remove the bolts.
Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
- Disconnect the selector lever cable to the transmission manual lever.
- Remove the selector lever retainer bolt. Position cable aside.
Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

- Disconnect the retainer from the transmission.
- Disconnect the quick release couplings and remove the fuel lines. Refer to: QUICK RELEASE COUPLING
