1. Check body to the sliding door dimensions.
   1. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

   2. Dimension

      : 0.0394 +/-0.0591 in (1 +/-1.5 mm)

   3. Dimension

      : 0.1890 +/-0.0591 in (4.8 +/-1.5 mm)

   4. Dimension

      : 0.0000 +/-0.0669 in (+/-1.7 mm)

   5. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

   6. Dimension

      : 0.0000 +/-0.0591 in (+/-1.5 mm)

   7. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

   8. Dimension

      : 0.0079 +/-0.0472 in (.2 +/-1.2 mm)

2. NOTE: The following steps are only necessary if adjustment is required.
3. Remove the retainers and the striker assembly.

4. NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the edges of the component.

   Carefully open and close the sliding door.

Check 

1. Check body to the sliding door dimensions.
   1. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

   2. Dimension

      : 0.1890 +/-0.0591 in (4.8 +/-1.5 mm)

   3. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

   4. Dimension

      : 0.1969 +/-0.0591 in (5 +/-1.5 mm)

Adjustment 

1. Loosen the bolts enough to permit movement of the sliding door.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

2. After operation check the alignment and correct if necessary.

Adjustment 

1. Fully open the sliding door. Loosen the nuts enough to permit movement of the sliding door.

   Torque

   : 1.: 177 lb.in (20 Nm)

   2.: 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

2. After operation check the alignment and correct if necessary.

2. 1. Loosen the sliding door hinge pivot bolts.
   2. Adjust the retainer.
3. 1. Tighten the sliding door hinge pivot bolts.
4. After operation check the alignment and correct if necessary.

5. Tighten the retainers.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)

Adjustment 

1. NOTE: Only tighten the bolts finger tight at this stage.

   Tighten the bolts.

2. NOTE: Take extra care not to damage the edges of the component.

   Carefully close the sliding door.

3. Open the sliding door.

   Torque

   : 18 lb.ft (25 Nm)
