  1. Possible Sources 

    • Gearshift lever

  2. A1 CHECK THE GEARSHIFT LEVER

    • Detach the gearshift lever from the transmission.

    Is the gearshift lever difficult to operate? 

    Yes  Install a new gearshift lever. REFER to: Gearshift Lever .
    No  The gearshift lever is operating correctly at this time, REINSTALL the gearshift lever. Check for transmission concerns, REFER to: Manual Transmission .
