Pinpoint Test A: Noise, Vibration Or Harshness (NVH) In 1ST, 3RD, 5TH Or 7TH Gear

- Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
- Odd clutch, odd clutch shaft
- Driving normally, shift into the affected gears. Cruise at various steady speeds in the affected gears. Try upshifts with various throttle openings (usually in 15-35% range), and downshifts by decelerating the vehicle with various loads on the brake pedal. If the transmission NVH is excessive, INSTALL a new transmission. REFER to: Transmission
