Pinpoint Test B : P06A6, P06A7, P06B1

  1. Normal Operation and Fault Conditions 

    REFER to: Electric Powertrain Control - System Operation and Component Description .

    DTC Fault Trigger Conditions 

    DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition
    SOBDMC P06A6:00 Sensor Reference Voltage "A" Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an internal power supply failure is indicated.
    SOBDMC P06A7:00 Sensor Reference Voltage "B" Circuit Range/Performance: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an internal power supply failure is indicated.
    SOBDMC P06B1:00 Sensor Power Supply "A" Circuit Low: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when an internal power supply failure is indicated.

    Possible Sources 

    • Wiring, terminals or connectors
    • Inverter System Controller (ISC)

  2. B1 CHECK FOR INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.

    Are any Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs present? 

    Yes  For DTC P06A6:00, P06A7:00 or P06B1:00 GO to  B2 For all other Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs, REFER to the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Chart  .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
  3. B2 CLEAR AND CHECK INVERTER SYSTEM CONTROLLER (ISC) DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear all Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.

    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, retrieve all Inverter System Controller (ISC) DTCs.

    Are DTCs P06A6:00, P06A7:00 or P06B1:00 present? 

    Yes  CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, INSTALL a new Inverter System Controller (ISC). REFER to: Inverter System Controller [SOBDMC] .
    No  The system is operating correctly at this time. The DTC may have been set due to high network traffic or an intermittent fault condition.
